  Another Meet the Team Monday at Private Home Care and today we spotlight Deirdre Lowry, one of our Client Care Managers! We believe compassionate care starts with a strong, supportive team and Deirdre embodies that every day. With a background in emergency medicine, she saw how isolating the healthcare system can be and felt called to do more. In home care, she brings creativity and heart to help clients navigate complex decisions and find the support they need.Deirdre's favorite part of the job is seeing someone’s spark return, whether through meaningful conversation or a positive change in their care. One source of inspiration for her is the book "Out of My Mind," a powerful story about a young girl with cerebral palsy who defies assumptions and shows the strength of a voice that’s often overlooked.Outside of work, she loves hiking with her dog, exploring new places (she’s visited all 50 states + is checking off new countries too!), and diving into arts and crafts.   This Meet the Team Monday introduces Lauren Rotering, RN, BSN, our newest team addition. Lauren joins PHC as our Compliance and Support Coordinator for the KC office!Lauren brings her experience as a registered nurse to support our incredible caregivers. Inspired by a family legacy of nurses, Lauren knew from a young age she wanted to help others. Today, she’s passionate about making sure caregivers feel confident, equipped, and supported because when they thrive, so do the people we serve.Lauren shared that “Healthcare has taught me the importance of adaptability. Every day brings new challenges, and learning to stay calm and solution-focused has been key.”Outside of work, Lauren loves the outdoors, traveling, and cheering on her kids at their activities. Fun fact: she was once attacked by a lion! (Okay, it was just a playful lion cub in Africa but still, pretty wild.)We’re thrilled to have Lauren on the team!
